Elon Musk's high-speed Hyperloop train makes more sense for Mars than California
Well, on mars, you could level/grade the right-of-way and lay down a sintered halfpipe, which gets you most of the way to a hyperloop configuration, since ambient atmosphere is pretty low. Use the same sucking configuration to supply air to the hoverpad feet, and exhaust to atmosphere, obviating the need for cooling exhaust air.
