CSIRO tech accelerates hydrogen vehicle future - CSIRO
New membrane for extracting hydrogen from ammonia, which allows a hydrogen logistics train where hydrogen is made/stored as ammonia, bulk transport is done as liquid ammonia, and converted back to hydrogen at a local fill station for local storage in a high pressure tank, for eventual use in fuel cell vehicles.

Is 3D Printing the Future of Logistics for UPS? -
So who will end up owning local 3D printer facilities? Logistics/shipping/supply chain companies, real estate firms, or perhaps the community at large? Shipping companies may have the edge here, as we approach a matternet future; they have local shipping centers/facilities where printers could be housed, UAV drone delivery is just within reach from local centers, and they have their fingers in supply chain/logistics for JiT manufacturing. If they short circuit a major product delivery stage, it's a net win for the product designer/manufacturer and the shipper.

Consortium aims to build megafloat / Oil and gas rig workers to live off Brazil coast : Business : DAILY YOMIURI ONLINE (The Daily Yomiuri)
200Km offshore means this is nominally a blue ocean offshore structure, not something that one would normally call coastal. Which means that this is not going to be similar to the megafloat runway that was built a while ago in Japan as a test of such hardware. This is going to be more like a seastead. So, perhaps more like a PSP barge setup then?

DRONENET The next BIG thing. - Global Guerrillas
If the drones doubled as mobile mesh wifi nodes, IPv6 anywhere starts to sound good. Having rooftop perches where drones can land to be inductively recharged (NFC payment for electricity consumed) should round this out.

Fujitsu announces 'Engineering Cloud' for manufacturing ‹ Japan Today: Japan News and Discussion
This seems to be pretty smart, outsourcing the segments of manufacturing support IT operations for small companies to someone who is competant, and getting access to better softwre and supply chain management suites. The CAD stuff is going to be difficult, short of using something like VMware's PCoIP protocol for doing remote 3D CAD work, but that ultimately needs a fairly high end PC or specialist thin client to do it well.
