Interesting work on a actual magnetic topological insulator. In theory this should allow reductions in line transmission losses. But this needs magnetic materials, and currently requires cryogenic cooling, so on the face of it, it isn't much better than current high temperature superconductors. Might be more applicable to chip scale stuff, especially if they can get the working temperature up.
