Okay, this seems like an actual improvement over Amazon's Kiva whole shelf moving UGV's. Using the drones as both UGV's carrying single trays as well as elevator pickers to pull from dense/high tray stacks means you can multiplex tray picking from the stacks, rather than the typical separate elevator picker bot permanently mounted on the shelves.

Single atom displacement drops carbon nanotubes to 40GPa, multiple defects make it much worse. So unless you have a perfect set of tubes/fibers, there will be no earth space elevator using CNT's.

New carbon fiber elevator cables with a high friction coating. While they do cut down on weight/power for normal elevators, they really shine in the super height elevator class (500m+).

Odd vertical farming layout hardware. Basically uses a continuous chain loop/ferris wheel to carry troughs up a vertical distance. So at first glance, probably not hydroponic compatible. Also, seems to focus on leafy plants, and the troughs may be shaded for half a transit on the loop. Still interesting. Apparently in commercial use in Singapore.

Kinda strange looking exhibit. Is this supposed to be the surface anchor, because it sure doesn't look like normal climbers to me? Maybe a lunar polar station anchor, since it's tilted?

Interesting concept for lunar sample return. But the architecture (EML1 centered lunar space elevator) has interesting implications for other purposes. Since it hangs "down" from L1 to earth, it's about halfway between GEO and L1. This means a notional SPS hardware delivery system that might take advantage of a two stage delivery (impulsive tug to L1, SEP tug from L1 to GEO) can be changed to not needing a SEP tug (drop off at the CW and do a small burn when approaching GEO), and possibly integrate with the impulsive stage ops. Say, burn to L1, grab and ride the tether then let go, do a light burn to place payload at GEO, then burn for aerobraking drop to LEO. This cuts deltaV down a fair bit. But, this requires a solid lunar surface anchor as you are now pulling up on the elevator every time you try to drop a load to GEO. I suppose you plant the anchor for the balanced cable, then use bulldozers to keep loading regolith on top of the anchor to weigh it down.

Oh this hurts my head. Basically, exploiting non traditional phenomena could allow a space elevator using unpowered climbers, the achilles heel of traditional linear space elevators.
