Interesting that they use high temperature coolant, in an effort to cool to ambient temperature rather than forcefully chill the coolant below ambient, as a kind of economizer.

PB-AHTR, an evolutionary step for the PBMR, using liquid fluoride coolant rather than a PBMR/VHTR helium coolant. Though it ends up running through a heat exchanger into a helium brayton circuit for the turbines. If you're using a secondary circuit, why not move up to a supercritical CO2 turbine plant instead (maybe there is a radioactivity or reactivity issues between the liquid fluoride primary loop and CO2 secondary loop?

This would help to demonstrate a lot of tech for a LFTR setup though
