Check Your Privilege Episode Two: Fat Acceptance - YouTube
The Beauty Myth - Naomi Wolf // 4:50 - feeling insulted & angry? because one tells one has the power (whole plant based foods/diet), & oneself is the culprit of what one puts in his mouth, & whether or not (free will) 2 exercise (HIIT, karabolic endurance)!? Yes, these womens feelings are real bc they have been told white lies, outright lies, deceived (deception), things have been spun and reframed, & now they are made to look like fools, self-destructive, lazy, addicts, ... under those circumstances, lots of people with thick emotions arnd food & their weight since childhood can be seen not irrationally angry but, fair & square, under the given circumstances. // "she got my genetics." #epigenetics is true. brain of unborn gets pre-programmed in womb with mothers eating habits & also with health habits from father (gene expression!). // but u have to look @ it also that women are much more harshly judged than men, around this. but it catches up; rise of bigorexia/muscle dysmorphia

About Your Skin: What Nina Jablonski thinks you should know about your body’s biggest organ.
[ race is not biological, race and ethnicity is a social construct. baby/kids are not born innate racists. homophobes. transphobic. xenophobic nor antisemitic. ] [...] To most humans, races are creations of the mind that have social reality and that often have physical traits associated with them. So race is strictly a social construction? Yes, but that doesn’t make it any less real. When people identify as belonging to a certain group, the biological or philosophical status of the race doesn’t really matter. So race is a very durable construct and people have strong racial identities that are often tied up with physical appearance, but also include a lot of cultural aspects. [...] It’s very important that you create slaves as an inferior class as people. You dehumanize them by saying they are inherently immoral, inherently incapable of developing true human qualities. They are sub-human. This makes the whole slave trade much more palatable.

Karen Straughan - Feminism: Socialism in Panties @NHLF14 - YouTube
[ anti-feminist ] The roots of feminism are essentially collectivist. From the Declaration of Sentiments of Seneca Falls, published the same year as the Communist Manifesto, the language and philosophical framework of feminism is identical to that of marxism repurposed. It is a model of class struggle which casts men as the bourgeoisie and women as the proletariat, a social dynamic Karl Marx insisted must be internalized by women if women were to be convinced to participate in any communist revolution. This model lingers today in modern feminism and in mainstream society, despite a mountain of evidence that gender relations simply do not work this way. &! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROjOjDMr43M - 2013 Camille Paglia: Feminism is moribund &!

BBC Radio 4 - A History of Ideas, Historian Simon Schaffer on Beauty and Evolution, Feminine Beauty: A social construct?
Feminine Beauty: A social construct? // The French existentialist writer Simone de Beauvoir famously declares in her book The Second Sex that a woman isn’t born a woman, rather she becomes one. She means by this that there is no way women have to be, no given femininity, no ideal to which all women should conform. Simone de Beauvoir suggests that resistance to male stereotypes of beauty can mean greater equality. Voiced by Harry Shearer. Scripted by Nigel Warburton. &!&!&!& via http://www.reddit.com/r/FemmeThoughts/comments/2lqcw6/feminine_beauty_as_a_social_construct/ "it is feminism's goal to break away from that oppression and its labels. This deconstruction also represents a point of departure from the failings of humanism. [...] feminist theory is broadly applicable to any marginalized or oppressed group"

Memo to my daughter: “Keep your eye on the ball and hit hard” | PandoDaily
What I love about Abramson’s [...] she’s named it, she’s owned it, but she doesn’t make herself a victim. She knows she lives in a sexist world and that makes her victories– and even her defeats– that much sweeter. This is how we should talk about women in the world. Not stupid debates about having it all. Taking the world as it exists, naming it, shrugging, and continuing to fight. // +++ // http://www.newrepublic.com/article/118735/problem-esquires-praise-42-year-old-women-amy-poehler "entrenched short-sightedness and sexist cruelty of male-controlled media [...] Yay, thanks for some crumbs of enlightened thinking, for some slightly nuanced improvements in the daily, punishing business of publicly evaluating and then reevaluating women’s worth. [...] 'I don’t fucking care if you like it.' [...] Social Media [frictionless, not thinking twice or setting something aside for a day]. [Women's] life['s and worth's] are up for public evaluation. Laverne Cox: Trans people should not put their dreams on hold because of who they are
And all that’s about other people’s expectations of who he’s supposed to be, it’s not about who he actually is. So if he could just let go of all that, he’d probably be a lot happier – but then he’d have to question the privilege that he’s been given, and a lot of people don’t want to do that. And I have to say if I grew up with all this privilege, I don’t know if I’d want to question it either.
