Daily Kos: Occupy My Uterus. My Ass! Fertilized Eggs Are NOT People!
'On November 8th, the voters of Mississippi will be considering a "Personhood Amendment" (Amendment #26) which would give a fertilized egg more rights than a live born woman, and would outlaw abortion and birth control.'

(Not sure if how much the outlawing thing is correct; it certainly wouldn't apply to birth control through condoms, but could through the pill, morning after pill and others)

'…the chattering classes keep complaining that the marchers lack a clear message and specific policy prescriptions. The message — and the solutions — should be obvious to anyone who has been paying attention since the economy went into a recession that continues to sock the middle class while the rich have recovered and prospered. Google Online Security Blog: An update on attempted man-in-the-middle attacks
"Today we received reports of attempted SSL man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks against Google users, whereby someone tried to get between them and encrypted Google services. The people affected were primarily located in Iran. The attacker used a fraudulent SSL certificate issued by DigiNotar, a root certificate authority that should not issue certificates for Google (and has since revoked it)." The issuing seems to have been the result of hacking.
