The Satanic Children's BIG BOOK of activities
Link is to a PDF. A Florida county let Christian organisations distribute action books in schools. So they have to let other religions do so too. And The Satanic Temple (who've also erected a statue to Baphomet near a Ten Commandments momument in some US park), put together a fun activity book!

Texas abortion bill defeated after missing deadline | World news | guardian.co.uk
The bill would have banned abortions in the state after the 20-week gestation mark, limit abortion-inducing drugs and require terminations to be performed in ambulatory surgical centres. Advocates say these and other restrictions in the bill would have also triggered the closure of 37 of the state's 42 abortion clinics.

The forgotten prisoners of America's own Gulag - The Independent
166 inmates remain. 3 convicted, 30 to face trial. 50 in legal no-man's-land, too dangerous to release but against whom there is not enough evidence to prosecute. And then there are 86 who have been cleared for release, yet aren't released.

When I read this headline, I had an immediate instinct to check whether it was a parody. But it's not. What the fuck?

400 women called Sarah
Julie Bindle has written an article essentially dismissing the existence of bisexuality, and suggesting it's all a political/feminist issue. The 'evidence' she includes is a survey of 400 women, some of those women thinking bisexuality doesn't exist.

As a comparison, inspired by the project to get a longer list of evolution-supporting scientists named Steve, than the list of evolution denying scientists (named anything), a friend has set up a page to get 400 women called Sarah to affirm that they believe bisexuality exists.
