The new 2018 MacBook models support secure boot through their newly included T2 chip inside the TouchBar including the Secure Enclave. To check if Secure Boot is enabled, the MacBook needs to be booted with the cmd+r key. After entering the Firmware Password, it is possible to access the “Startup Security Utility” in the Menu bar. If the MacBook contains a T2 Chip (TouchBar), it is possible to see the options for “Secure Boot” and “External Boot”. It is highly recommended to have “Secure Boot” on Full Security and “External Boot” on Disallow booting from external media.

How to Fix Blurry Fonts on macOS Mojave (With Subpixel Antialiasing)
Apple’s macOS Mojave disables subpixel antialiasing, also known as font smoothing, by default. On a MacBook Air or a desktop Mac hooked up to a non-Retina display, upgrading will make your fonts look worse.

Update: We’ve found a better method that will actually re-enable subpixel antialiasing rather than just relying on font smoothing. Open a Terminal and run the following command:

defaults write -g CGFontRenderingFontSmoothingDisabled -bool NO
Log out and log back in for your changes to take effect. Thanks to Dean Herbert for reporting this to us.

How to scan a document into Evernote | VueScan
