Contrary to popular belief, RISC isn't about the number of instructions! This is archived here since, at least once a year, I see someone argue that RISC is obsolete or outdated because their understanding of RISC comes from the name, not from what RISC actually is. This is arguably a sign that RISC is very poorly named, but that's a separate topic"
