For x reason (not important, upto author if you want to expand), either sam or dean must submit to the other. If they don't, they will both be taken and forced to submit to outsiders. Problem is, given their history, both Winchesters suffer from obvious trust issues and find it hard to give up 'control'- and they are both aware of how hard this will be on their brother if he submits. I'm picturing a scene with Sam and Dean facing each other, completely surrounded by 'villains/enforcers' as they wordlessly try to determine who will submit to whom. Then Dean whispers 'please, Sammy' and Sam knows he cannot let dean do this- dean has always played a 'protector' role with him and even if he agrees, he will never be truly able to submit as would be needed. He lowers his eyes in silent acceptance. He is horrified when Dean's first order is 'strip', but then the man is wrapping his own jacket around his naked form and Sam relaxes.
I would like to see Dean as a very competent 'dom/top'- he would be horrible for anyone regular person, but he knows Sam and his triggers and it is laughably simple ow he can make Sam obey. Sam for his part finds it embarrassing how good he feel giving up control. He always knew his brother wanted the best for him, but now that Dean very literally 'owns' him, he is grateful for it. There is a mandatory sexual aspect to the ownership, but Dean is careful and Sam, who was never one for regular one-night stands; finds its actually better with dean than with anyone he'd slept with before.
Tl;Dr- Dean has to 'own' Sam, and though he's humiliated by the situation, Sam learns that he actually enjoys being owned.

The nights are the cheap motels are starting to get chilly, so Sam and (a reluctant) Dean decide to share one bed and cuddle for warmth. With Dean opposed to any kind of physical affection unless it's a 'thank fuck you're alive' hug, Sam starts reaching out to Cas. Cas is happy to reciprocate because he's a little touch starved too and there's something really comforting about getting a Moose!hug.

Sam loves how Cas's hugs start out hesitant then get better as he warms up to them.

Somebody ties Dean down and tortures him but without laying a finger on him. Instead they tell him what they are going to do or are doing to Sam and Cas. They are very convincing and in the end Dean freaks out and starts screaming. But Cas and Sam rescue him and they're fine but Dean isn't. He won't let them out of his sight, they even end up sleeping on either side of him so he knows they're close enough for him to keep him safe.

A on location shoot means J2M have to stay over in a hotel. It's a small town and the hotel is run by a creepy manager and it's not exactly high class accommodation. The only thing the place has going for it is that the beds are huge.

Just as well because Misha and Jared don't like their rooms - Misha's is too cold, and Jared's convinced there's something under the bed because it certainly sounds like it. So the two of them decide they're going to share with Jensen. Jensen has no choice but to put up with his two overgrown puppies, though when they start giggling at the predicament he's tempted to go stay in Jared's room and if there does happen to be anything under the bed he'll kick its ass.

Eventually, Misha and Jared convince him to stay.

Cas gets hit with a curse that even though he's an angel means he will sleep and when he does sleep, he will suffer from nightmares. Horrific things that leave him shaking and terrified even though he knows they are not real.

As he starts to really feel the impact of the bad dreams, Sam suggests something that helped him when he was growing up and had nightmares. Sometimes, if their dad wasn't there, he'd crawl into bed with Dean and Dean would hold him.

They try it, and it works. Sam finds it helps him too, having someone trust him again, especially an angel.

Sam was lucky not to be born in a hospital and as a child he was home schooled. His family moved around a lot to stay off the grid. Once he was an adult, he managed to get with an underground organization that helps keep seers from being caught.

Dean is a hunter who recently lost his seer to a demon attack. As much as Dean would like to go solo, he can't, he needs a seer to keep up with the amount of evil out there. Dean doesn't have the time or energy to deal with the Government to get a new seer. He has contact who works with an organization that hides seers. His contact has been talking about "Sam" and how gifted he is. After agreeing on a $$$ amount, the contact gives Dean an address on where he can find "Sam". Dean goes to the address and easily overpowers the folks with Sam and abducts him. The first thing Dean does is goes down to a government agency and claims Sam for his own.

Anyway, lots of angst between Sam trying to fight Dean but ending up depending on him. Dean isn't a horrible owner but he fully expects Sam to fall in line and do what he was born to do which is help seek out evil so that Dean can kill it.

For many years Alphas aggression have been controlled electronically. (Either with a implant or collar.) Anyway, Alphas were practically betas now, and omegas could live a normal life without the fear of being claimed and forced into submitting to an Alpha.
Dean is a Alpha and is still aggressive as far as Alphas went especially when Sam was threatened. Growing up John had to have his collar adjusted a few times to keep Dean under control.

A regular salt and burn goes sideways and Dean was slightly injured. The next day Sam lets Dean sleep in. Sam is bored so he turns on the TV and sees that the National Broadcast Warning sign is flashing. As he stares at the tv, the news comes on and is showing Alphas attacking omegas and claiming them right on the street! Sam reads the scrolling news at the bottom of the tv saying that the Alpha controlling grid is down and Alphas are resorting back to violence against the public. Because they have been denied their biology for so long they are even more aggressive then before. Sam can't tear his eyes away from the horrible violence playing out before him. Alphas are publicly attacking omegas right on tv. The news scrolling at the bottom is warning everyone to stay inside, keep family Alphas out of the house, etc.

Suddenly Sam remembers Dean. He looks over to Dean's bed, all he sees is Dean's collar lying there. Sam then looks back towards the TV and Dean is standing in front of him. There have been times when Sam has been scared of something Supernatural before, but he never felt fear like he does right now with the way Dean is staring at him.

Sam can't fall asleep without staring at Dean, can't stay asleep without him right there touching him, Sam even throws his leg over him and clutches to him/pets him/pats him maybe even rolls away from him occasionally but still reaches his foot out to touch Dean's legs in his sleep, has little mewling peaceful sounds of contentment in his sleep as long as Dean is touching him. But if he stops and leaves/gets up to go the bathroom or something the sounds quickly turn distressed, and when he does wake up from horrible faces in his nightmares, he can't go back to sleep without Dean's face right in his face.
