Creating an LVM Mirror for Fault Tolerance or Moving Data
The goal is to add fault tolerance to an existing LVM volume or to move a file system on an LVM device from one SAN disk to different SAN disk.

For this procedure an additional disk is needed for each leg of the mirror, plus space for the mirror log device. It is usually best to have a dedicated disk for each leg of the mirror and the mirror log.

Add the additional devices to the volume group containing the pre-existing volume to be mirrored.

permissions - How to chmod without /usr/bin/chmod? - Unix & Linux Stack Exchange | https://unix.stackexchange.com/
You can run the loader directly, and pass it the command you want to run:
<code class="language-bash">
/lib/ld-linux.so /bin/chmod +x /bin/chmod

Your path to the loader might vary. On a 64-bit system you need to choose the right one based on how chmod was compiled; the 64-bit version is named something like /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2

The chmod utility relies on the chmod() system call (see man 2 chmod). So you could do this with a few lines of C, or just about any other language that has a wrapper around it (which would be most of them). Very few *nix systems are going to lack a C compiler and a perl interpreter; most linux distros require the later to work.
<code class="language-bash">
perl -e 'chmod 0755, "foobar.file"'

Disaster recovery for SQL Server - SQL Server | Microsoft Docs
Data movement between replicas can be synchronous or asynchronous, with Enterprise Edition allowing up to three replicas (including the primary) as synchronous. An availability group has one fully read/write copy of the database which is on the primary replica, while all secondary replicas cannot receive transactions directly from end users or applications.

StarWind Virtual SAN (VSAN) Free

Free Software-Defined Storage (SDS) solution. StarWind VSAN Free provides an ample set of virtualization tools for admins, developers, and IT geeks who have the skills necessary to maintain virtualization infrastructures.

VSAN free product is designed for production purposes, POC (Proof of Concept), or test and development.

StarWind Virtual SAN is a virtual shared storagethat comes in two scenarios -for vSphere and for Hyper-V. StarWind eliminates any need for a SAN or NAS or other physical shared storage. StarWind VSAN for Hyper-V installs on top of virtualized or bare metal servers, whereas StarWind VSAN for vSphere comes as a pre-packaged Linux VM. The software "mirrors" internal storage between hypervisor servers to create a fault-tolerant shared storage pool. It integrates into an operating system or hypervisor for performance and simplicity of use.

Create a recovery drive | https://support.microsoft.com/
This seems to also be how you *delete* the existing recovery drive (which is 300-some megabytes) from the PC. This seems to be necessary in order to extend the Window OS system partition?
