Crysis 360 Controller Configuration :: Crysis General Discussions
What's the one major thing PC gaming has over console gaming, especially when it comes to FPS? Mouse aiming. So what did I go and do? Knowing full well that I would be using a mouse and keyboard to play Crysis, I went and configured the controller to a much more comfortable setup anyway. Why? Cause I was bored, mostly. So here you go, a Crysis Controller setup that doesn't suck, utilizes all the buttons on the controller, and doesn't use three different buttons for the same command.

Just dump this into your C:\Users\[your username]\Documents\My
Games\Crysis\Profiles\default[or whatever profile you use]. I'd keep the old actionmaps.xml handy, just in case this one messes something up. It's only been tested by a team of monkeys, not by actual gamers yet, so it probably has some kinks that I don't know about - the monkeys are really bad at filling out playtesting reports.

Crytek's CryEngine 3 makes it easier than ever for devs to build games as pretty as Crysis
It's not every day you get to speak with the folks who make one of the most advanced game engines in the world, but today at E3, Crytek (you know, the folks responsible for Crysis) let us in on some of the secrets behind its latest game platform, CryEngine 3. We sat down with Kirthy Iyer, an animation technologist at Crytek, and had him walk us through some of CE3's tools that are enabling publishers to build games for any platform -- including PC, PS3 or Xbox 360 -- faster and better than ever. Among the highlights are a "multi-layer navigation mesh" that automates the movements of AI-controlled game characters, and super realistic water rendering technologies. We could go on singing CryEngine's praises, but instead we'll let you get all the details from Mr. Iyer in the video after the break. Enjoy.

Descent into Madness: Why One Guy Remade Crash Bandicoot with the Crysis Engine - Giant Bomb
Yann Gilbert is a 22-year-old aspiring game developer who made headlines a few weeks back for publishing proof of something absurd: Crash Bandicoot running in the Crysis engine. Why anyone would attempt to recreate the platformer that placed Naughty Dog on the map back in the 1990s into an incredibly advanced slice of gaming wizardry is a really damn good question. I had to figure this out.

Going through the effort to modernize a video game that represented the bleeding edge of technology more than 15 years ago into, a creation built with disregard to development norms and even guidelines handed down from Sony, endlessly fascinated me. It struck my imagination enough to ask the original creators of Crash Bandicoot, Jason Rubin and Andy Gavin, to chime in on Gilbert's absurd creation.
