Fem!bofur, pussy slave
Bofur is the company's prostitute, she's well paid and its all consensual and enjoyable (NO noncon!!!!) i figured that groups prostitutes commonly followed armies back in the day so it would make sense for our company to have one

Basically she is the pussy on call and at night when they're all around the campfire (any free time, really), she spreads her legs, ready to be used.

Could work with nori also I guess? probably shouldnt be a durin though because that wouldn't make much sense (unless maybe kili as a destitute bastard child or something lmao)

Bilbo/fem!DoYC; mistaken gender, Dwarven names are opaque to Bilbo
Statistically speaking, if there is one Dwarven woman to every three Dwarven men, then there should be three women in the company. The Dwarves all know this, and think nothing of it - Dwarven women are, after all, just as hardy as men.

However, for Bilbo it takes until the Dwarves bathe in the fountain in Rivendell to discover that there are women in the company.

It's not really his fault, he figures. The Dwarves all have beards, dress like men, and who can see breasts through all the thick layers Dwarves wear? Still, when he expresses his surprise, he feels quite embarrassed when somebody exclaims that, how could he have thought so; those are clearly girls' names! (And it's especially humiliating that the Dwarf he'd been having a flirtation with - one of the women - is right there to hear this exchange.)

Later on, still fresh from bathing, said Dwarf seeks out Bilbo in order to familiarize him with female Dwarves, so he doesn't make the mistake again; it-- (Full details at prompt)

Nori/Bofur protectiveness, pregnancy
i have a HUGE protectiveness! and pregnancy!!kink and i would love to see Nori being super protective for whatever reason, reassuring, maybe some magic heal all sex.

Like Nori and Bofur joined the quest and just before the whole troll incident Bofur realizes he's pregnant and just starting to show and before he can tell Nori they're having to go rescue Bilbo. Bofur thinks they're about to die and tells Nori while they're tied up.

Author can go whatever way they want after i just need me some Nori being protective and loving to to a pregnant Bofur.

fem!Bofur or mpreg i will take either :)

Thorin/Bofur, Bilbo reminds Bofur of their son
So (going with the idea that Fili's blonde hair comes from Dis's and Thorin's side of the family) Thorin and Bofur have been together long before Erebor fell and (whether it's omega-verse, femBofur, or just regular mpreg) they had a son, with curly blonde hair and ?blue? eyes. Than the dragon attacks and Erebor fall's and either during the dragon attack or shortly thereafter (maybe attacked by orcs while traveling) both Bofur and their son (who is the equivalent of maybe 5 or 6) are seriously injured, the healers are able to save Bofur but their son doesn't make it. Thorin being Thorin handles like he handles everything else, repression and/or tracking down the ones who did it, Bofur on the other hand becomes catatonic, he won't eat he won't sleep, but then suddenly he starts to get better. Everyone's so happy that he's actually eating again that it doesn't register that he started to get better around the time Dis became pregnant, and if he is slightly over-- (Full details at prompt)

Any/Bofur A dwarf's gender isn't determined until marriage.
All dwarves are assumed to be Male until they get married where their actual gender is determined by what they bring to the marriage. Husbands teach children all the basic life skills: cooking, cleaning, weapons training, basic metalworking, reading, writing, math, ect. Wives provide for the children: toys, weapons, home, food, apprenticeships, money, social/political connections, ect. Obviously there is some overlap, especially if one is weak in one area or another. Like, you don't want your husband to teach your kids how to cook if he burns water. Bofur gets married and Surprise! He's a female.

Fem!Bofur/Nori, Just "Playing Crochet"
Let's say that most male Dwarves do men and women, because there are just so many more guys about. Nori on the other hand can't deal with cocks at all and only likes the curves of a lady. Dori can be quite annoyed about how choosy his little brother is.

Here's the problem though - not that many Dwarrowdams - who can afford to be choosy since the men outnumber them greatly - will settle for a criminal with a dirty sense of humor. Not unless Nori pays them, that is.

But girl!Bofur might. She has a thing for bad boys, has quite a foul mouth, much to her relatives' dismay, and is fast to lift her skirts if she likes someone.

Just Nori and girl!Bofur having fun.

Bilba/DOYC, Dwarves don't have dowries--Hobbits do
So, Bilba and DOYC are interested in one another, court for a time, and decide to get married--yay!

Fastforward to doing it the proper way: they must meet each other's families, and their families meet. One of the Tooks is serving as Bilba's family-representative, and begins to discuss with them during negotiations the dowry.

The dwarves aren't sure what this 'dowry' thing is, and are most offended when they find out. Imagine! A wife paying to be wed!

Turns out, things are kind of the opposite in dwarrow society.

-- Female Bilbo, please.
-- Discussion of dowry and bride price!
-- Cuteness
-- Romance

These are the things I want. If any author!anons would be so kind as to oblige me, I would be mighty appreciative! :D

Genderbend, Peeping Fíli and Kíli
Somehow, maybe because they have their Uncle's sense of direction, Fíli and Kíli end up at the girls' side of the river they're currently bathing in. And if it had been just Fíli, he would've turned back undetected and nobody would've been the wiser, except Kíli is already ducking behind a rock, looking.

"What are you doing!?"
"Do you see Ori's breasts?"
"Kíli, you can't just sit there and look at- is that a piercing? How old is she?"
"Older than me, apparently, if she's allowed a piercing!"

Then they start discussing how Bofur is fitter than she looks in her baggy clothes, and that Hobbit lasses seems to have very ample bosoms and don't braid their bush hair at all.

And then Thorin catches them.

Fem!Bilbo/DoYC, dwarves are sexually liberated whereas hobbits are incredibly repressed
As the dwarves leave Bag End to start their journey, some of them can't help but notice the disapproving to downright menacing stares they get as they set out but assume that the locals simply wish to see them gone. To their surprise, they are later joined by Bilbo who looks as if she spent a good deal of time crying but assures them it's just allergies. What they don't know is that Bilbo had a reputation due to a few teenage fumbles with local boys and that hobbits are strictly against any kind of promiscuity. That left her with a black mark and when a whole troupe of dwarves marched straight into her home and left early the next morning, neighbors assumed the worst. Bilbo left partially because she did want to go on an adventure but the driving force behind her running off was former friends and neighbors turning cruel and unkind. tl;dr: Bilbo lives in a slut shaming society, her neighbors assume that the dwarves all had their way with her, and their nasty behavior towards Bilbo th

For example: The sisters Fili and Kili find each other hot. A revelation that some guys in the company might find hot as well.

Or: Dwalin is warrioress twice the size of the youngest Ri sister, but she still comes apart like a blushing maiden when Ori's mouth is between her legs.

Or Nori and Bofur bond over the fact that the men in the company call them not very lady-like.

Dwarf Sexology Lesson
Dwarflings don't have a sex, so there's no boys and girls. Only when they reach puberty do the start to develop their male or female sexual parts (or sometimes something in between).

For example – The Ri's think Ori will be a woman, for sure, because it likes taking care of its dolls so much and being all motherly, but they guess wrong.

Or Bofur, who is a very laddish kid, turns out to become a woman. Which doesn't change her character in the slightest.

The Durin's are known to have fickle bodies – they often end up as in-betweeners.

Bofur has had some or all of Bombur's children (not incest)
So what if, because of the low fertility rates amongst Dwarves, the toil of childbirth, and (in my mind) the high number of same sex relationships, asking family and friends to be surrogates is common? As long as some of your blood is with the child, they can still be yours by birth.

I would love to read a fic in which sweet, generous Bofur is the birth parent to some or all of Bombur's children. Perhaps because Bombur's wife is trans, infertile, just plain worn out from previous births, too busy raising the other kids, etc... Or she and Bombur just wanted to because they think Bofur'd make lovely children or because Bofur's always wanted to do it!

My preference is that Bofur be a trans man which is common in Dwarf society--sort of akin to Hobbitdragon's "Lessons in Dwarven Culture." Like, I don't think the Dwarves would use the word 'trans,' but the basic concept is there. I'm also open to Bofur being a cis woman.

I wouldn't like to deal with Dwarven inbreeding though, so either Bo

Fili/Ori/Kili Betrothal
We've had Fili and Kili sharing lovers, and both having fiancees. We've had mpreg, and Fem!Ori, and 'Ri family Feels.

Introducing.... Frankenprompt!

Dwarf women/childbearing men are rare enough that it's expected that brothers will share a wife. Being of royal blood, Fili and Kili have had a bride picked out for them since Kili was a baby.

Ori is that bride.

The three of them grew up together, and when Ori found out Fili and Kili were going on a potentially deadly quest, he wouldn't let them go without him.

They're not married yet though. They're basically just barely considered adults, so Dori insisted on coming along as a chaperone, and Nori certainly wasn't going to let his whole family run headlong into danger without him to watch their backs.

I'm fine with either mpreg or Fem!Ori.

Major bonus if Bofur is also female/capable-of-bearing-children-male, and over the course of the journey, Balin and Dwalin decide to court him together.

Fem!Bofur/Any - (Not) Just one of the Lads
It occurs to me that Bofur's jokes and pranks smack a little of someone trying too hard to be one of the lads...

And while most of the dwarves are kin to one degree or another - all from Erebor - Bifur and Bombur and Bofur are not, so the others don't know their history.

And while Bombur keeps to himself, and can be relied on not to give away Bofur's secret, and Bifur has an axe in his head to explain the occasional lapse into feminine forms of Khuzdul when he talks to/about Bofur, Bofur herself is naturally garrulous, and however careful she is, however hard she tries to fit in, sooner or later she's going to screw up...

(This could be terribly angst-y, and I'm trying very hard not to demand a happy ending. But. I'm happy to have any amount of sad!Bofur, really. But. Think of sad!Bofur - aren't you sad now? Wouldn't you do anything to cheer Bofur up? The answer is yes.)

The Amazons of Erebor
Basically, the Dwarves in the Company are all women, including Thorin. They are not just going to Erebor to reclaim it, but to create a matriarchal society. They're tired of the patriarchy! They take Gandalf along cause he's useful and Bilbo cause Gandalf says he ill e too, plus, they don't hate men, they just don't want to be ruled by them anymore.

How does this change the story?

Also, I don't care if you do pairings or not, but if you do, I prefer Thorin/Bilbo or Thorin/Bilbo/Bofur for Thorin and Bilbo. Thanky!
