2019 Ram 1500: This Mopar accessories concept will let you spend all your money
Mopar showed off its accessories for the new Ram 1500 pickup at the Chicago Auto Show before the new truck even hits dealer lots. The brawny Mopar 1500 is designed to give you an idea of what your Ram can look like with a healthy dose of factory accessories. Off-road-ready beadlock wheels compliment the 2-inch lift kit and off-road fender flares, and while the 2-inch lift might not sound like a lot, the extra height adds even more presence to an already big pickup.

Upgraded Dodge Durango SRT Blows into the Windy City |
The roomy crossover, occasionally referred to as the “man-van,” has traditionally balanced a more macho-male driving dynamic with the functional utility of a large ute that all members of the family can appreciate. For the Windy City unveiling, Dodge is putting the spotlight on the sportiest Durango SRT edition, offering a handful of upgrades – though it sticks with the current, 475-hp Hemi V-8.

2019 Ford Transit Connect First Look | Edmunds
When the 2019 Ford Transit Connect goes on sale this fall, shoppers can choose from either the two-seat Cargo Van or the Wagon version with three rows of seats to carry up to seven passengers. Regular- or long-wheelbase versions will also be available to fit owners' particular needs. The Transit Connect Wagon is fairly basic transportation for passengers since it lacks many of the creature comforts associated with more traditional minivans. One upside is that the seats fold flat from front to back, providing plenty of passenger-to-cargo flexibility.

Nissan Goes Snow Patrol for Chicago: Automotive Design & Production
According to the National Weather Service, in 2013-14 the seasonal snowfall in Chicago was 82 inches, an amount of precipitation that would probably make those who had to endure it wish they’d had the Armada Snow Patrol concept that Nissan is introducing this week at the 2018 Chicago Auto Show.

The Detroit Auto Show Slips Even Further Into Irrelevance in 2018 - The Drive
Too many SUV's. Automakers skipping shows. Big talk but without real innovation. And don't forget the spoilsport Internet. No wonder auto shows are going the way of the Hummer.

2019 Jeep Cherokee First Look | Edmunds
The Cherokee is one of the few vehicles in its class with a truly capable off-road system, the Trailhawk trim level, and in our experience, it's one of the most comfortable compact crossovers on the road, even if it isn't the most dynamic. Jeep refers to the Cherokee as midsize, which is probably a bit more accurate, but if you're shopping for crossovers, you'll want to compare it with vehicles such as the Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5 and Toyota RAV4. The new Cherokee will be on sale in the first quarter of 2018, so expect to see it in showrooms soon.

The 2019 Jeep Cherokee Gets a Better Face and a Turbo Engine - The Drive
Many things stay the same—it's a mid-cycle refresh, after all—but the changes Jeep did make are significant, headlined by that new front end. Gone are the bi-level bug eyes and the weird beak-like proboscis, replaced by a much more traditional vertical grille and rectangular headlights.

Ford Ranger vs. Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon: Is there room for a newcomer?
The segment exploded in popularity this decade — it has surged 78 percent since 2014 — but that growth appears to be running out of steam. Last year's U.S. sales of 452,335 midsize pickups were less than 1 percent more than the year prior, and IHS Markit doesn't expect the segment to top 480,000 sales through 2025.

Where's Chevy's midengine Corvette?
The next major global auto show happens in early March in Geneva and nearly all the world's supercar manufacturers are on this year's list of exhibitors. GM and Chevrolet are not scheduled to attend -- but that may be a ruse to tamp down speculation.

If you are going to launch a bona fide American supercar, why not take it to the Europeans and introduce it in their backyard?
