How to enable Auto Unlock on your Mac and Apple Watch
Your Apple Watch isn't only useful for tracking your fitness or using Apple Pay: If you have a compatible Mac, you can also use Auto Unlock: The feature (which requires macOS Sierra or later and watchOS 3 or later) lets you pair your watch to your Mac; once you've done so, you can automatically unlock your computer just by sitting down in front of it, no password required — if your Apple Watch is unlocked and on your wrist when you sit down. Here's how.

Change your Apple Watch band
Make sure that you use a band that corresponds to your Apple Watch case size. You can use a band that's designed for Apple Watch (1st generation), Apple Watch Series 1, 2, and 3 with Apple Watch Series 4 as long as the sizes are compatible. Bands for 38mm and 40mm cases are compatible with each other, and bands for 42mm and 44mm cases are compatible with each other.

Why it’s hard to read the time on Infograph –
“Across a wide variety of brands, styles, and price points, a few key [watch-]design principles are clear:

“• The hour markers for 12 (and often 3/6/9) are more prominent.
“• The hour indices are much larger than the minute markings.
“• The hour hands nearly touch the hour indices.

“These all improve legibility by making it as fast and easy as possible to know which hour is being indicated (and minimize the chance of an off-by-one error), first by orienting your eyes to the current rotation with the 12 marker, then by minimizing the distance between the hour hand and the indices it’s between.”

Some Apple Watch Series 4 models repeatedly crashing and rebooting due to daylight saving time bug • 9to5Mac
Benjamin Mayo:

A bug with the complications on the new Infograph faces in Apple Watch Series 4 is causing some very unhappy Watch owners today. Users in Australia have just experienced the daylight saving time change and are finding their Watches are now stuck in reboot loops.

Specifically, it seems the large Activity complication on the Infograph Modular face is not handling the loss of an hour elegantly, and instead causing the entire device to crash and reboot …

The Activity complication on the Infograph Modular face draws a timeline graph of the current day, showing hour-by-hour data for Move calories, Exercise minutes, and Stand Hours that make up the Activity rings.

In a typical day, there are obviously 24 hours. Although the exact problem has not yet been diagnosed, it appears that the large Activity complication simply cannot handle drawing its graph with one of those twenty four hour missing.

It would be hard to think of something guaranteed to throw off computers than daylight saving time.
