How many Apple IDs should your family have? – Gigaom
If your family owns multiple Apple devices and you have several different Apple IDs among you, it can become overwhelming or confusing or just plain maddening to figure out where your content is. It doesn’t have to be that way: To manage your media and app purchases more effectively, you may want to consider having a single family iTunes(s AAPL) account.
What you would do is take one of your Apple IDs — the single username to manage all your Apple accounts — associate it with a single iTunes account and a credit card, and assign it to all of your iOS devices.  From here on out, you can continue to make all of your family’s purchases for all of their devices from that one iTunes account.
However, there’s one exception: iCloud. It may seem like you would want a separate iCloud account for each device because each iCloud account comes with a mere 5 GB of free storage.  This hardly seems enough to back up even one 64 GB iPhone 4S or iPad.  Each member of your family may own multiple Apple devices and want to have all of their data equally accessible from each device. But having a separate account for each device does not make much sense either.

Some Apple Card invitees are running into issues with their Apple ID
Make sure you didn't type in the wrong Apple ID in your invite application.
What you need to know
Some Apple Card invitees are running into issues with their Apple ID.
Some say their Apple doesn't recognize the Apple ID they've been using for years.
Others say they accidentally typed in the email for their Apple ID and now they have to wait a few extra days to get the invitation again.
More and more people are getting their invitations to apply for the Apple Card, Apple's latest must-have product, but some are running into issues with their Apple ID. Multiple users are reporting that when they receive their invite for the Apple Card, they are being asked by Apple for proper email associated with the Apple ID even though they already provided it.
Reddit user Johnjamesjacoby relayed his issues in a post saying he applied to get an invitation for the Apple Card but when the invite came, the email he provided didn't match an Apple ID. However, he says he has used that Apple ID (with the same email) for nearly 10 years.
Other users have also reported getting a similar email, including one of iMore's writers, Christine Romero-Chan.

Widespread Apple ID Phishing Attack Pretends to be App Store Receipts
A widespread and sneaky phishing campaign is underway that pretends to be a purchase confirmation from the Apple App store. These emails contain a PDF attachment that pretends to be a receipt for an app that was purchased by your account for $30 USD and tells you to click a link if the transaction was unauthorized. Once a user clicks the link, down the rabbit hole they go.
I first learned about this campaign this weekend when three different people during the course of a single weekend told me that they had received an email stating that they purchased an app from the Apple App Store when they know that they did not. It was not until I started researching this campaign that I learned how widespread it is.

Kirkville - Learn How to Manage Your Apple ID
I get a huge number of emails from people who are having problems with their Apple IDs, about managing the Apple ID and their devices, about using two-factor authentication, and about using the Apple ID with the iTunes Store and App Store. I’m very happy that Glenn Fleishman has written this book covering the Apple ID from A – Z.
Your Apple ID is much more than a simple username. It’s a key that unlocks a long list of Apple products and services on any of numerous devices. iCloud uses an Apple ID; so do iTunes, Apple Music, the App Store on Mac and iOS, the Books app, and more. An Apple ID protects your personal information, including email and iOS backups; helps you find a lost iPhone; and can even unlock your Mac. So it goes without saying that if something goes wrong with your Apple ID, you could be in for a world of hurt.
