The App Store Review Process is just TSA Security Theater. And I won’t be surprised if the only result of all this is just longer review times and more theater. I hope the collateral damage of squelched creativity from “forbidden apps” like custom lock & home screens was worth it

Sheep Teach Each Other How to Migrate Long Distances
Bighorn sheep migrate on long journeys, following a wave of green as plants come to life. Instinct doesn't teach this, but culture does.

BBC Uses Linguistics Program to Conclude Mike Pence Is Likely Author of NY Times Op-Ed
Another sign many observers pointed to was the op-ed’s use of the word “lodestar” to describe the late Senator John McCain (R-Arizona), which is a term used to describe a guiding light. The Indianapolis Star compiled some of Pence’s past uses of the word, and found that the vice president has used the word since at least 2001.

A warning from the past: IBM, the Holocaust, ICE and Silicon Valley | Data | Techworld
The IBM-Nazi connection was recently referenced in protest by Amazon workers, who signposted their ethical concerns about their company's collaboration with American law enforcement, including the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency – ICE – which has recently come under intense public scrutiny over the separation of children from their parents at the US-Mexico border, and the locking of children in cages in Walmart stores repurposed into detention centres.

We Are Being Played – Caitlin Johnstone – Medium
I believe that a senior Trump administration official probably did write that anonymous op-ed. I do not believe that they were moved to write it out of compassion for the poor Americans who are feeling emotionally stressed about the president. I believe it was written and published for the same reason many other things are written and published in mainstream media: because we are all being played.
